Flowscape represented at Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences
Flowscape was represented at a workshop on the subject of “Sharing economy in facilities” at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) in Stockholm on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019.
Subject and purpose: How can a solution for sharing economy in facilities in Sweden be established in order to optimize how people, companies and public services use available spaces in facilities more effectively. The benefits of this are resource efficiency from a green perspective, creating innovative hubs for increased cooperation as well as cost effectiveness.
Why Flowscape: Flowscape has technical expertise in the area of facility utilization solutions, thanks to our statistical tool FlowAnalytics. In this tool, one can measure the utilization rate in rooms and work zones.
Results: The workshop was filled with interesting discussions, and by the end of the day, several recommendations were presented from the various representatives (academia, private facility-related companies, architects, local government officials).
These recommendations will be taken into consideration by IVA and subsequently formed into concrete roadmaps that will be presented to politicians, facility owners and other important decisionmakers in order to realize these visions!
