Welcome, Gabriel! Tell us a little bit about your background?
I started my career in sales when I was 15 years old selling office supplies. Learning the fundamentals of building customer relationships at that age had a huge impact on my future. My professional journey includes key roles in reputable companies such as Apple, Svea Bank, and Multisoft. My roles have primarily focused on business development, B2B sales, and strategic growth with IT, SaaS, and digital marketing.
How would you describe your role at Flowscape?
As a Senior Sales Manager at Flowscape Solutions. My role will be to focus on driving growth through strategic business development, identifying key areas for improvement, and helping our clients transition into modern workspace solutions.
Why did you decide to join Flowscape?
In my view, Flowscape represents the future of hybrid workspaces. A vision that resonates deeply with my passion for digital transformation. The company’s innovative solutions are crucial for modern organizations adapting to flexible work environments and cultures.
What’s a fun story from your career so far?
I quickly get labeled as the “funny GIF dude” internally whenever I join a new workplace. I love how much you can express through the right GIF and emojis; this is especially noticeable nowadays when we are all using communication apps every day at work. I think it makes the day a bit more fun for most people and mitigates the boringness of plain text conversations.
Why do you think the hybrid workspace model is the way forward?
I believe the hybrid workspace offers the perfect balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. It not only improves work-life balance for employees but also reduces operational costs for companies. From a strategic perspective, it enhances employee satisfaction and productivity, which are crucial for long-term growth. Moreover, solving this puzzle can have a huge positive impact on the company's culture.
What’s your top advice for companies transitioning to a hybrid workspace
Invest in Technology: Modern software solutions for desk booking, team scheduling, and virtual meetings are essential.
Encourage Flexibility: Allow teams to choose where they work best—whether at home or in the office.
Optimize Office Layout: Create dynamic spaces that cater to collaboration and solo work.
Foster Communication: Use digital tools to maintain clear communication across remote and in-office teams.
If you could describe the future of work in one word, what would it be and why?
The future of work is all about adaptability and being able to seamlessly transition between physical and digital workspaces. Technology will enable companies to respond quickly to changes, making adaptability the cornerstone of resilient business strategies.
What’s the best work advice anyone’s ever given you?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to "Always focus on understanding the client's problem and value sentiment before offering a solution." This mindset has helped me build stronger relationships and deliver more impactful solutions throughout my career.
